Alden Court is operated under the Gordon Healthcare Management Group. The Huttleston Unit provides post-acute, short-term nursing and rehabilitation care; the Whitfield and Cooke Units are for longer-term stays as well as a home to our elderly residents. Alden Court received a Deficiency-Free Survey and a 5-Star CMS Rating by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health in 2016 and 2017. We also were chosen as the US News & World Report Reader's Choice Award for Best Nursing Facility 2016 , 2017 & 2018. The goal of Alden Court is to create a home like atmosphere for the residents. Creating a home like environment helps the resident feel more at ease. We accomplish this by ensuring the facility is an open concept with windows and open areas everywhere to convey a bright spacious atmosphere. The dining room is elegant, media center has theater seating and the courtyard has a beautifully maintained flower garden and water fountain that can be accessed by many interior doors to the secure setting. The goal is to help each resident adjust to physical, intellectual, and emotional limitations and still find satisfaction in daily living. Alden Court welcomes family and friends and encourages them to be a part of our wonderful facility. We accept private pay, Medicaid, Medicare, commercial insurance, and managed care health plans, such as Harvard Pilgrim, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Tufts. Alden Court is proud to be an active member of our surrounding community. We open our doors for music and other performances and engage over 50 volunteers to assist patients in our facility.
