Overview

All Americans Home Health and Hospice offers a wide variety of services covering both home health (skilled medical care) and hospice (comfort care for terminal illness): Skilled Nursing Services: Provided by Licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). These include: Wound Care Medication Management and Administration IV Therapy Diabetic Care Disease Management and Education Post-Operative Care Pain Management Psychiatric Nursing Therapy Services: Physical Therapy (PT): For improving mobility, strength, balance, and reducing pain (e.g., gait training, home exercise programs). Occupational Therapy (OT): For improving the ability to perform daily living activities (e.g., upper body strength, range-of-motion). Speech-Language Pathology (SLP): For improving swallowing, cognition, and speaking abilities. Respiratory Therapy: For patients with pulmonary conditions. Medical Social Services: Provided by Master's prepared Social Workers (MSW) or supervised Social Worker Assistants to address social or emotional problems affecting recovery and connect patients with resources. Home Health Aide (HHA) Services: Provide personal care services on an intermittent basis, often when other skilled services are also being provided. This includes: Assistance with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming). Assistance with dressing. Assistance with mobility (getting in and out of bed, walking). Light housekeeping related to patient care. Hospice Care Services: Focused on comfort and quality of life for individuals with a life-limiting illness. This includes: Pain and Symptom Management. Interdisciplinary team approach (doctor, nurse, social worker, aide, chaplain, volunteers, bereavement staff). Emotional, spiritual, and psychosocial support for patients and families. Bereavement care for families for up to 13 months after a loved one's passing. Provision of necessary medical equipment and supplies related to the hospice diagnosis. Support for various terminal illnesses such as Cancer, Heart Disease/CHF, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's Disease, COPD/Pulmonary Disease, AIDS, Multiple Sclerosis, Liver Disease, Renal Disease, ALS, Stroke & Coma.
