The Carl Gipson Center (formerly Carl Gipson Senior Center) at 3025 Lombard Ave, Everett, WA 98201, is a vibrant, membership-focused hub run by Volunteers of America Western Washington in partnership with the City of Everett . Since reopening in early 2022 under a 14-year agreement, it welcomes adults aged 50+, veterans, individuals with disabilities, immigrants, youth, and families . Open Monday–Thursday (8:30 am–5 pm) and Saturday (8:30 am–3 pm), it offers a wide array of activities—exercise, classes, games, support groups, arts & crafts, trips, personal services, speaker series, and congregate meals (free or low-cost) provided by Homage Senior Services . The facility recently underwent a major remodel—including $1 million upgrades like a new elevator and expanded kitchen/dining space—and features solar panels that also serve educational purposes.In addition to programming for older adults, the Center is expanding its reach via intergenerational events, disability inclusion initiatives, veteran celebrations, and wellness supports, with ambitions to add youth after-school programs, ESL classes, and health clinics.
