Our Healthcare area consists of four neighborhoo... The Cedars offers continuing care that is customized in comfortable surroundings with compassionate caregivers. This Person Centered Care provides peace of mind for our residents and their families. Our Healthcare area consists of four neighborhoods where all residents have the opportunity to share meals and socialize with their neighbors. Walnut Grove, Magnolia Lane, Rosewood Hollow and Evergreen Lane are located in The Cedar's main building. Each area has its own nursing station and most contain a dining room and activity room where residents can gather. The Cedar Houses are on the east side of our campus at the corner of First and Maxwell Streets. Four group homes accommodate 12-14 residents centered on a common kitchen and large sitting and dining area. Each home has a large patio where residents may fully enjoy the gorgeous lake views. To take advantage of the full amenities and social opportunities at The Cedars, our transportation department makes regular and frequent trips between the Cedar Houses and the main building. We have both a Director of Nursing and an Assistant Director of Nursing, and share a dedicated Activities Director to ensure that all residents are given the opportunity to stay both physically and mentally active.
